Frequently asked questions

  • What accessibility standards does this tool test against?

This dashboard uses axe-core to test against WCAG 2.1 AA standards. The tool automatically checks for common accessibility issues including color contrast, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and semantic HTML structure.

  • How often are accessibility scans performed?

Accessibility scans are performed weekly. Each scan tests all major pages and user flows to ensure consistent accessibility compliance across the entire application.

  • What's the difference between Critical, Serious, Moderate, and Minor?
    • Critical – Issues that block access completely. Users are unable to use a feature or complete a task.
    • Serious – Issues that cause significant barriers, but don't fully block access. They make tasks very difficult, requiring workarounds.
    • Moderate – Issues that cause some inconvenience, but users can usually still complete the task.
    • Minor – Issues with low impact on accessibility. These are more about best practices and improvements to the user experience than barriers.
  • Can I copy the issue to Jira?

Use the 'Copy Markdown' action on a violation and paste it into Jira to generate a formatted ticket.
